All hail Amy Schumer, who has always been a firm believer that celebrities should ‘be real’ about their body transformations.
The 42-year-old actress has long been candid about her struggles with weight-loss, and previously opened up about her decision to have liposuction after giving birth.
The results of cosmetic procedure had Amy ‘feeling really good’ – and now she’s calling for other celebrities to follow her lead and be transparent about work they’ve had done.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Amy explained: ‘Everyone has been lying saying, “Oh smaller portions.” Like shut the f*** up.
‘You are on Ozempic or one of those things or you got work done. Just stop. Be real with the people. When I got lipo, I said I got lipo.’
Amy also revealed she’s used Ozempic – an anti-diabetic medication that can help people lose weight.

The I Feel Pretty star, who is mum to four-year-old Gene, said: ‘Like a year ago, I tried it. I was one of those people that felt so sick and couldn’t play with my son.
‘I was so skinny and he’s throwing a ball at me and [I couldn’t]. And you’re like, “OK, this isn’t livable for me.”‘
In 2022, after her liposuction – a surgery that removes unwanted body fat – Amy said she finally felt ‘good’ after becoming ‘tired of looking at [herself] in the mirror.’
Around the same time, Amy also got both her appendix and uterus removed due to endometriosis – a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other places.

In April 2021, the Trainwreck star also opened up about undergoing coolsculpting, a fat-freezing device to get rid of her ‘double chin’.
While undergoing the treatment and comically pointing to the device, Amy joked that it was ‘not what you think’, parodying celebrities who pretend they haven’t had cosmetic procedures.
She said: ‘I just want to say that I’m blessed with the way I look and I’m not gonna be one of those people that gets stuff done. And no offense to the women that do.
‘This is not what you think. It’s not … this is just how I like to rest my head because it feels good. This is the only way I can really relax. It’s not that I’m getting my double chin addressed in a way. So don’t worry about it.’
We love her.
