Prince William and Kate did a walkabout around Soho, central London, yesterday much to the delight of royal fans.
But one teacher whose dream it has been to talk to Kate had his wish granted when the princess stopped to have a chat with him.
Louis Stevenson, a school teacher, was one of many Londoners and those from further afield who lined up to catch a glimpse of the royal couple.
He posted the video to his Twitter which shows Kate stopping to talk to him about his work.
Talking about his job, he said: ‘It means so much for me to be a teacher.’
Kate then asked, ‘What sort of age do you teach?’ to which Louis replied: ‘I teach from 11 to 16.’
Kate then said: ‘I’m trying to get my kids to speak French and learn languages but also it would be nice for them to just learn a different language.
‘I think it is just really important.’
