Love Island star Ollie Williams announced his engagement three years after quitting the popular programme.
The TV personality – who appeared on the first winter series back in 2020 – announced his exit from the South African villa after three days, explaining he was still in love with his ex-girlfriend.
In series six Ollie was briefly coupled up with eventual winner Paige Turley before his departure.
In his latest Instagram post, the 26-year-old shared a picture of him and his fiancee Laura Nofer.
Alongside the snap of beaming Laura showing off her ring, Ollie wrote: ‘Strange things happen up on the Moor! 💍.’
Addressing his exit during the final episode, Ollie said: ‘I have to be honest with myself, and everyone, that I do still love someone else.
‘I have to follow my heart in this scenario and it would be wrong for me to ignore these feelings. At the end of the day, this is Love Island and it’s about finding love.’
This comes after Ollie addressed the backlash after posting a photograph with three dead deers and captioning it: ‘A fantastic morning with @paulchilderley on the Chinese Water Deer.’
He also posted a photo with a close up shot of one of the deer’s faces as he knelt by them, writing: ‘A brilliant, meat harvest, chiller filled. Wild, locally sourced, happy healthy meat. What more could you want?’

But after receiving backlash on social media, and from animal rights group PETA, who said he had a ‘cold heart’, Ollie posted a video on Instagram defending himself.
In it, he said that the animals he shot had ‘gone straight into the food chain’.
‘The meat is healthy, happy, sustainable and net zero,’ he explained.

‘It is far better than anything you could buy from the supermarket.’
‘It has not suffered.’
He added: ‘All the things you eat like the chicken, beef and pork have gone through a fairly horrible and rigorous slaughtering system where they’ve been gassed, electrocuted, had throats slit and basically seen their buddies dying around them in quite mass intensive killing factories, whereas these deer haven’t had that.’
