Daryl Hall revealed he would be joining Billy Joel’s headline show at BST Hyde Park festival as a supporting act.
As one of the most popular recording artists and respected entertainers in history, Billy Joel will perform on the iconic stage on Friday July 7, with the famous special guest.
Like his friend Billy, Daryl is an international musical treasure – he is an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the star of his very own award-winning web series-turned-TV staple, Live from Daryl’s House.
This special BST summer appearance will see the star make his Hyde Park debut.
Daryl also announced his headline show two days later with Daryl’s House Band and special guest Todd Rundgren at London’s Eventim Apollo on Sunday July 9.
The Philadelphia soul man is still achieving career milestones more than four decades later, continuing to perform with his band to sold out venues everywhere.

Expected to put on quite the show with an expansive catalogue of hits including Maneater and You Make My Dreams, Daryl promised fans a classic singalong BST Hyde Park day out with his news.
Elsewhere for Billy, one of the most recognised concert films of all time – Live At Yankee Stadium – came to cinemas on Wednesday 5 and Sunday 9 October in celebration of 50 years of Billy Joel.
He is the sixth best-selling recording artist of all time and the third best-selling solo artist, as well as one of the biggest concert draws in the world.
The star’s songs have acted as personal and cultural touchstones for millions of people across five decades.

Billy will be joining previously announced headliners P!NK, Guns N’ Roses, Take That, BLACKPINK, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band on the festival’s billing for 2023.
Last year’s BST Hyde Park saw three monumental weekends of music including appearances from the Rocketman himself Elton John who performed as a part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour and The Rolling Stones were reunited for two incredible sell out nights, with an emotional and triumphant tribute to the late Charlie Watts.
London’s global star Adele brought it home for two shows with an incredible all female line up.
The Sunday vibes were offered up by Americana legends Eagles and Pearl Jam provided two packed nights of rock n roll.

Finally, one of Britain’s best loved groups, Duran Duran, closed the final night with a day of singalong smash hits.
