Comedian Tom Lucy has revealed that he was actually the reason behind George Ezra’s injury during his Glastonbury set three years ago.
On Mel Giedroyc’s show Unforgivable, each episode sees three celebrities go into a confessional to declare the sins they’ve committed, so that it can be decided who is the most ‘unforgivable’ out of the lot.
On the upcoming sixth episode of the third series, which is due to air next week, revealed not only that he ‘blew £200-worth of cocaine given to him by a British A-list actor’, but also that he pranked George, although it didn’t go as planned.
Tom shares: ‘One of my friends is the brother of George Ezra, the singer, and three years ago we were in a pub, me and George’s brother, and George and some of his friends came and joined us.
‘We got quite drunk and George got up to go to the loo, and I thought it would be funny to pretend to trip him.
‘So I stuck my leg out, and actually tripped him.
‘Which at the time was quite funny, we were all quite drunk. He woke up the next day with a very badly sprained ankle.’

Tom continues: ‘This was on the like Tuesday. That weekend he was playing the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.
‘He had to do the whole thing sat on a chair. And he made up a story that he’d fallen over running but actually he had to play Glastonbury sat on a chair because I’d tripped him up.’
George’s appearance at Glastonbury this year ended up being quite a surprise for fans, after concerns he’d pull out over illness.
The Shotgun singer was forced to pull out of the Tinderbox Festival in Odense, Denmark a few days before after contracting a ‘nasty’ bout of laryngitis.
Fans were concerned for George’s health and whether he would be able to perform at Glastonbury over the weekend, as he had been rumoured for the festival’s iconic ‘secret sets’.

But, he gave everyone the news they’d been waiting for, sharing a photo of the John Peel Stage tent on Twitter hours before.
‘SURPRISE! @glastonbury see you 2pm on the John Peel Stage for a big old party,’ he penned.
Unforgivable airs at 10pm on Dave on Tuesdays and catch up on UKTV Play.
