Khayon Edwards has travelled with Arsenal’s squad for their Premier League clash with Leeds United on Sunday.
The 19-year-old is yet to make his first-team debut for the Gunners but was named on the bench for the 1-0 win over Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
Gabriel Jesus has travelled with his Arsenal teammates to Leeds but the Brazil international is a doubt due to injury.
And according to the Daily Cannon, Edwards is in contention to make Mikel Arteta’s matchday squad having made the trip to Leeds.
Edwards has scored two goals in four appearances for Arsenal’s Under-21s this season but his first few months of the new season have been disrupted by a hamstring injury.

Speaking about having a limited time to prepare for Arsenal’s trip to Leeds following their win over Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League, Arteta said: ‘The trick is how are we going to prepare for Leeds, mentally and physically.
‘It’s going to be a battle – we know the way they play and how intense it is going to be and the crowd that they have, so it’s going to be a challenge. We have to be at our best again to win there.’
