Metro – Gove: This isn’t Tory
Former minister Michael Gove has become the latest senior Tory to savage Liz Truss’s mini-budget, reports the Metro. The paper says the former levelling-up secretary called the mini-budget “not Conservative” and criticised “a number of mistakes” in the PM’s plans to grow the economy by increasing the amount of borrowing.
