Keir Starmer under investigation by parliamentary sleaze watchdog
The Metro says Sir Keir Starmer is being investigated by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards over potential breaches of rules on earnings and gifts.
An entry on the parliamentary website shows the Labour leader is being probed by the watchdog.
An investigation into potential breaches under two sets of the financial rules MPs must abide by was opened on June 8.
Sir Keir’s registration of employment and earnings and his registration of gifts, benefits and hospitality are both being looked into.
