Boris Johnson uses Jimmy Savile to defend himself against Sue Gray report and police investigation
Plymouth Live says Boris Johnson was accused of an ‘extraordinary low blow’ after he claimed Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer failed to prosecute Jimmy Savile as he hit back at Labour criticism over the Sue Gray report.
The report catalogued a series of “failures and leadership in judgement” within Number 10 Downing Street and the Cabinet Office while England was under coronavirus restrictions.
After being criticised by Labour leader Starmer, the Prime Minister said: “The report does absolutely nothing to substantiate the tissue of nonsense that he has said. Absolute nonsense.
