Fake celeb pals grieving for Caroline on TV hurt me – this Christmas will be harder than ever, says mum Christine Flack
The Sun says IN February it will be two years since Caroline Flack tragically took her own life at the age of 40.
For her heartbroken mum Christine, 71, the pain is still as raw as it was when she lost her beloved daughter – and she anticipates this Christmas will be a struggle for her and her family.
“It’s been worse this year, because it’s become real,” she tells The Sun in an exclusive interview, adding that her daughter is in her thoughts “every second of the day”.
One thing that hasn’t helped, Christine says, is seeing people who didn’t really know her daughter talk about her under the pretence that they were close.
“It’s hard. I saw someone on the telly this week calling her a friend and it really hurt,” she says.
