Arsenal can repeat Takehiro Tomiyasu masterstroke with £10.8m transfer target
The Daily Express says Arsenal could repeat their Takehiro Tomiyasu masterstroke next summer if they sign the right-back’s former team-mate Mattias Svanberg. Svanberg is currently impressing for Bologna in Serie A.
Mikel Arteta appeared to strike gold when he persuaded Tomiyasu to quit the Italian league and move to north London at the end of the summer transfer window.
The defender joined a team which was rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table after suffering three defeats in August.
But Tomiyasu’s arrival has coincided with Arsenal’s upturn in fortunes.
