Gabby Petito died by strangulation and was left in wilderness for three to four weeks, coroner says
The Metro says a Wyoming coroner has revealed that Gabby Petito’s cause of death was strangulation – and that her body was left in the wild for three to four weeks.
‘We find the cause of death to be strangulation and the manner is homicide,’ Teton County Coroner Dr Brent Blue said on Tuesday afternoon.
He added: ‘The body was in the wilderness for three to four weeks.’
The disclosure comes three weeks after Gabby’s remains were found in a remote campground in Bridger Teton National Forest.
