Anti-vaxxers target UK schools with protests against Covid vaccine roll-out for 12 to 15-year-olds
The i says anti-vaxxers are targeting schools across the country with protests as the 12-15 year old vaccine rollout begins in England and Scotland.
Schools in Bradford, Bracknell, Kent, Leeds, Hertfordshire and Dorset have been singled out for demonstrations that are being planned in anti-vaccine channels on the Telegram messenger app.
Messages seen by i show hundreds of Telegram users being collectively encouraged to demonstrate outside school settings in the coming days and weeks.
Anti-vaxxers on the messenger app were calling on concerned parents and adults to bring leaflets and meet near schools to protest young people being offered the Covid jab.
