Self-isolation changes on Monday for double jabbed confirmed – new rules in full

The Mirror says: Double-jabbed Brits will not need to self-isolate from Monday, the Government has finally confirmed.

Under-18s will also be able to skip quarantining, but both groups will be advised to take a PCR test as soon as they have been contacted by NHS Test and Trace.

The fully vaccinated will only be able to skip self-isolation if they had their second covid jab 14 days before they were contacted by the test and trace service.

Crucially, people are at risk of infection even if they have been fully vaccinated.

The Government advised fully vaccinated Brits who have been contacted by the app to “consider other precautions such as wearing a face covering in enclosed spaces, and limit contact with other people”.
