$121m compensation for Jeffrey Epstein accusers who relived abuse
The Times says a fund created to compensate victims of Jeffrey Epstein using money from his estate has awarded a total of $121 million to 150 accusers who say they were sexually abused by the financier, its administrator said.
Jordana Feldman, a lawyer who previously served on the September 11 Victims’ Compensation Fund, said she had spent the past year examining claims from 225 people, more than double the number that had been expected to seek redress from the fund. Of those deemed eligible for compensation, 138 had accepted compensation offers, she said.
