Mike Ashley heads to court over Debenhams collapse

The Times says Mike Ashley has taken his long-running battle with Debenhams to the High Court as the Sports Direct billionaire aims to kickstart investigations into the collapsed department store group’s directors and advisors.

Ashley’s Frasers Group has applied to the High Court to set aside a settlement, agreed this year with Debenhams’ administrators at FRP Advisory, under which he was not to pursue legal action.
