Travel: 20+ countries ‘could be added to green list this month’
The UK is expecting another travel list update this month, and The Telegraph is reporting there are plenty of countries that could be added to the UK’s green list.
Many of the expected countries are in Europe and have infection rates below 20 cases per 100,000 people – a lower than 1.5 per cent positivity rate and high vaccination and testing rates.
According to the analysis by former BA strategy chief Robert Boyle – who spoke to the newspaper – these are the countries that could see fewer travel restrictions:
- France
- Italy
- Austria
- Bulgaria
- Hungary
- Romania
- Poland
- Norway
- Vietnam
- Denmark
- Slovakia
- North Macedonia
- Czech Republic
- Estonia
- Finland
- Lebanon
- Liechtenstein
- Lithuania
- Luxembourg
- Moldova
- Taiwan
- Azerbaijan
