Euromillions £148 million winner Adrian Bayford mansion empty and abandoned
In 2012, Adrian Bayford scooped a massive £148 million Euromillions win. One of his big purchases was a £6.5 million Grade II listed Georgian manor house which he put up for sale three years ago.
Bayford is still waiting for an offer on the mansion, but aerial photos show his Cambridgeshire estate is run down and dilapidated.
The photos show the extensive stable blocks are looking run-down and weeds are growing in the stable yard.
The mansion – Horsehealth Lodge – is set in rolling countryside near Linton on the border with Suffolk and Essex.
He had an offer for the estate last year, but it didn’t plan out and is now back on the market.
Bayford moved out in November 2019 and bought a house in Scotland to be closer to his children.
He was forced to step up security after squatters started using his swimming pool and gym after he moved out.
The estate agent state on their website: “Horseheath Lodge is an immaculate residential estate built between 1815 and 1825.
“The Estate is centred around the historic Grade II Listed Georgian house, which has been tastefully updated by the current owner to offer three reception rooms and six bedrooms.
“There is further potential to add accommodation on the vacant second floor, as well as in the extensive cellars.”
The 189-acre estate includes outbuildings with a cinema, billiard room, bar, workshop and storerooms.
There is also an outside swimming pool, with six further cottages, equestrian facilities and a barn with office space.
