From calling the Princess of Wales ‘cold’ to further details about alleged racism in Buckingham Palace, Omid Scobie’s new book has sparked a media firestorm.
The accusations in Scobie’s second book are sure to stun the Royal family and here are the biggest bombshells.
The ‘names’ of the two people who commented on Archie’s skin colour
The Oprah interview in 2021 dropped further bombshells on Buckingham Palace (Picture: Backgrid)
Mr Scobie claimed that letters between King Charles and Meghan Markle name dropped the two people who commented on her son’s skin colour.
He said: ‘I do know who made the comments about Archie’s skin colour. The names were mentioned in letters between Meghan and Charles that were exchanged sometime after the Oprah interview.
‘We know from sources that Charles was horrified that that’s how Meghan felt.
‘Those conversations were, and that he wanted to, sort of as a representative for the family, have that conversation with her.’
There are worries that Mr Scobie’s new book will reignite the ‘racism row’ that appeared after Harry and Meghan appeared on Oprah in 2021.
Prince William pushed to strip Andrew of his royal duties

Mr Scobie claimed that Prince William was the one who pushed to strip Andrew of his duties after the scandal erupted – not Charles.
He said: ‘Knowing the Queen’s soft spot for Andrew and his father’s fear of hurting his brother, sources said it was actually William who encouraged the Queen and Charles to strip the disgraced Duke of York.’
Mr Scobie added: ‘After the Firm’s painfully protracted management of the Andrew scandal and the aftermath of Harry and Meghan’s departure, Kensington Palace sources say William is keen to ensure his own image is no longer impacted by “poor decisions” made by others—be it his father, his uncle, his brother, or any other family member.’
King Charles evicted Harry and Meghan from Frogmore to ‘punish couple’

In another allegation, Mr Scobie has suggested that Charles evicted Harry and Meghan in a ‘cheap shot’ punishment for their Netflix show.
Mr Scobie said a source told him a significant part of the reasoning for the eviction was the Netflix Series, which attacked the Royal family.
He said: ‘Staying mum about Harry’s accusations and remaining publicly unconcerned for his son’s wellbeing while ending his family’s lease on a safe UK residence was not a decisive action by a resolute King.
‘It was a cheap shot from a wounded father bound by an institutional system that is often intolerant of human emotion’.
Princess of Wales ‘had five private secretaries in six years’
Mr Scobie said the press has ‘infantalised’ Kate (Picture: AP)
Mr Scobie slammed Princess Kate in a passage of his book, lamenting how the press ‘infantalised’ the princess for the smallest of acts.
He said: ‘Admittedly, Kate has rarely put a foot down wrong in public. But in the instances where criticism would be fair, such as carrying out fewer engagements than other senior royals, or the fact that she has had five different private
secretaries in six years (one, I’m told, simply found the role “uninspiring and frustrating”), you’d be unlikely to read about it in any British newspaper.’
Charles is ‘pampered’ and throws ‘temper tantrums’
Sources told Mr Scobie that Charles also likes his ‘shoelaces ironed’ (Picture: Getty)
Mr Scobie took aim at the King’s allegedly high style of living, citing sources as saying: ‘Charles likes to have someone squeeze exactly one inch of toothpaste onto his toothbrush for him ahead of his bedtime routine.
‘Paging Michael Fawcett! But it doesn’t end there. The cherry on top of this ridiculous extravagance: the toothpaste must come from a “crested silver dispenser”.’
The King apparently has had ‘temper tantrums’ at night if his pajamas aren’t pressed, Mr Scobie said.
The King called Harry ‘a fool’ after Netflix series

Mr Scobie wrote in his book about how the Netflix series released by Meghan and Harry ‘eclipsed Charles at every turn’.
One source told Mr Scobie: ‘Charles went from not wanting anyone to talk about
his son to openly criticizing “that fool”.’
‘It was a rousing mini soap opera within the world’s largest soap opera—a level of melodrama only the British royal family can produce.
‘And it eclipsed King Charles at every turn, besting his attempts to highlight his own narrative and promote the monarchy’s new Carolean era,’ he added.
Queen Camilla has ‘no relationship’ with Prince Harry
Camilla has ‘no relationship with Harry or Meghan – despite having ‘sympathy’ for her (Picture: PA)
Despite having ‘great sympathy’ for what Meghan went through while living in England, Camilla reportedly has ‘no respect for the way they handled themselves’.
Mr Scobie wrote: ‘As for her relationship with Harry and Meghan- there is none.’
And despite William and Kate becoming closer with Camilla and Charles as the years went on, he said ‘it seems the relationship with Harry and Meghan is a non-starter.’
Mr Scobie’s book has been branded as ‘vicious’ and ‘plain nasty’ by critics and received scathing reviews, including from the New York Times, which said: ‘a chapter reads like a press release cooked up by ChatGPT, and does little to shed light on them (The Sussexes) as humans’.
