Coronation Street lines up some truly shocking plot twists next week with three big returns on the cards and you can sneak a peek with Metro’s picture gallery, featuring a whopping 27 new pictures.
All loved up following their night together, Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) invites Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) to join her family for a drink at the bistro, believing that it’s time everyone knew they are together.
Before the little get-together, however, Damon takes a trip to the prison to see brother Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor), who makes his first appearance in over a year.
There is animosity aplenty between the warring siblings, with Harvey making a threat against Sarah, which prompts a showdown between the two, with guards forced to intervene.
Back on the street, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) receives word of what happened at the prison and wastes little time in storming over to the bistro to spill the beans to Sarah, who is in the process of introducing Damon to her loved ones as her new beau.
Adam insists that Damon is dangerous and he doesn’t want him anywhere near Harry, but Sarah delivers a cruel blow as she reminds Adam that Harry isn’t his.
Left with little choice and determined to protect those he loves, Adam arranges a meeting with Harvey. But just what is he up to? And what’s more, just how far will he go to protect Sarah?
Over at No.5, Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) worries about Joseph’s (William Flanagan) health again but Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) insists that he’s fine, refusing to listen to his wife’s concerns.
Coronation Street serves up more unmissable drama next week, with shocking returns and a devastating diagnosis on the cards (Picture: ITV)
Linda (Jacqueline Leonard), meanwhile, returns and is horrified to find out that Gemma is being investigated by social services.
Gemma worries that Chesney will take legal action and have the kids taken from her but their minds are soon elsewhere when Joseph collapses, with doctors suspecting that he’s contracted Lyme disease.
Coronation Street airs these scenes between Monday, January 15 and Friday, January 19 at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
