Emmerdale spoilers for next week follow, with a picture gallery above teasing what’s to come in the eponymous village.

Bernice Blackstock (Samatha Giles) gets mixed up with a fraudulent debt, with Jimmy and Nicola King (Nick Miles and Nicola Wheeler) falling victim to the scheme.

A number of enforcement agents arrive to seize the couple’s belongings but, despite Jimmy’s insistence, Nicola refuses to report Bernice, who is hiding out at Brook Cottage, fearing prison.

After some snooping, Nicola successfully tracks down Bernice, who is intent on making a swift exit before she’s caught. Nicola blocks her sister’s exit and, after some thought, Bernice decides to stay.

Nicola, however, issues her with quite the ultimatum, leaving Bernice with a lot to think about. The narrative in question will act as Bernice’s exit story, with star Samantha Giles set to leave the series.

Elsewhere, Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) is horrified when Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) reveals that Gus stole her embryos – and that Lucy is pregnant!

Marlon and Mary (Louise Jameson) urge her to speak to Gus, who fails to show up, with he and Lucy trying to make a swift getaway. Rhona is left in turmoil when Lucy emerges from the house to thank her.

Things then take a distressing turn, with Lucy doubling over in pain as her waters break.

Will Lucy be okay? Will the baby?

The week in question also proves to be a huge one for Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), as he continues to fight for his feelings for Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), who is still head over heels for him too.

Charity decides to escape the drama with a trip to Scotland but, horrified at the prospect of her leaving, Mack lays down in front her car and pleads with her to stay. The former couple confess their true love for one another, with Mack proposing to Charity, who says yes.

Mack therefore sets about ending things with Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland), who collapses and is rushed to hospital before he can break her heart. Will she be okay?

Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday November 13 and Friday November 17 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
