You still can’t buy one straight from Nintendo (pic: Nintendo)
Only a handful of UK retailers have the new Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Switch model in stock and the matching controller is even rarer.
Evidence of its existence had already leaked beforehand, but Nintendo’s gameplay showcase for The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom also revealed a tie-in Nintendo Switch OLED console and matching Pro Controller for you to get your hands on.
For whatever reason, though, neither product is available on Nintendo’s own website, which anyone who sat in the hour long online queue yesterday discovered the hard way.
Fortunately, if you’re unwilling to wait for an official Nintendo listing, we’ve found a few other retailers who are offering the new products, although you’d best act fast before they sell out.
This also means we now know how much the console and controller cost, a detail Nintendo failed to mention during the announcement.
The new OLED console (which, just so you know, doesn’t include a copy of Tears Of The Kingdom) is priced at £319.99 at both GAME and Smyths – the same price as previous special edition OLED consoles.
ShopTo has the console in stock too at £319.85, in case you fancy saving yourself 14p.
At the time of writing, these appear to be the only UK retailers that have the console. We’ve included links to all of them below, including Amazon, although it’s currently sold out and Amazon doesn’t know when it’ll have new stock. It wouldn’t hurt to bookmark the listing for later just in case though.

As for the Pro Controller, that’s a notably harder catch. Again, GAME, Smyths, and ShopTo are the only UK retailers selling it but all three are sold out at the moment. Amazon, meanwhile, doesn’t have a listing at all.
We recommend bookmarking GAME’s and Smyths’s listings and keeping an eye on them in case they come back in. While GAME doesn’t include a price, Smyths was selling it for £54.99, whereas ShopTo is listing it at £69.85.
Although Nintendo hasn’t provided an official price for the controller, it’s worth noting that the special Pro Controllers for Splatoon 3 and Monster Hunter Rise cost £64.99 on Nintendo’s website.

The only other alternative is to wait for Nintendo’s own stock to become available. You can register your interest in the console and related accessories by going to Nintendo’s website and giving them your email address so you can snap up the console and controller ASAP.
As a quick reminder, the new OLED model will arrive on April 28, two weeks before Tears Of The Kingdom. The controller, however, will launch on the same day as the game.
The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom launches for Nintendo Switch on May 12.
