The Sun – Zara danced with a fractured leg

    July 26, 2024

The Sun leads with the latest revelations in the Strictly Come Dancing abuse scandal. The paper says Zara McDermott broke a leg bone in tough training for the last series. But the star, 27, was unaware and danced on in pain with partner Graziano Di Prima until they were eliminated.

Elsewhere, the front page features an image of the Army officer who was repeatedly stabbed in broad daylight earlier in the week.

There is also room to report the whip scandal opens up Team GB place for Katie Price’s dressage teacher.

Strictly’s Zara McDermott secretly danced with a BROKEN LEG after injury in brutal training with Graziano Di Prima

STRICTLY’S Zara McDermott broke a leg bone in tough training for the last series.

But the star, 27, was unaware and danced on in pain with partner Graziano Di Prima until they were eliminated. Zara only recently revealed the injury to the show inquiry.

After the injury, Zara needed painkillers to get through ten-hour training sessions.

The ex-Love Islander told her pro partner — disgraced Graziano Di Prima — of her agony ahead of last series’ Halloween special.

The pair agreed to plough on before losing a dance-off — with Zara then going to hospital.

Army officer stabbed repeatedly near barracks pictured with hero wife who saved him after ‘attacker’ appears in court

THIS is the first picture of stabbed Army officer Mark Teeton — alongside his wife who dashed to save him.

Lieutenant Colonel Teeton, 47, cuddles wife Eileen and, in another shot, smiles in military camouflage and beret.

She fought with his attacker, while her piercing cries for help were captured on a neighbour’s doorbell camera.

Yesterday a friend said: “Eileen is a lovely lady and was in the military wives’ choir. She always pops into the community centre.

“As soon as I heard the wife jumped in to save her husband I immediately thought of her — she’s the one who came to mind.”

Whip scandal opens up Team GB place for Katie Price’s dressage teacher who Peter Andre accused her of having AFFAIR with

KATIE Price’s former dressage teacher has been called up for Team GB after Charlotte Dujardin was banned following a shocking horse whipping scandal.

The six-time Olympic medallist, 39, pulled out of the upcoming Paris Games this week after a disturbing clip emerged online showing her striking a horse 25 times with a large whip.

The 60-second video, taken during a lesson with a then 19-year-old rider at a private stables, came to light via a whistleblower just days before the start of the Olympics.

Stephan Wensing, the whistleblower’s lawyer, has said his client published the damning clip from a few years ago because she feels strongly about mistreatment of horses in dressage.
