Yellowstone ‘ending after 5 seasons amid clash between Kevin Costner and showrunner Taylor Sheridan’
The Metro says Yellowstone will reportedly draw to a close after five juggernaut series as Western drama hit by claims over ‘friction’ between Kevin Costner and showrunner Taylor Sheridan.
The Paramount Plus series, which premiered in 2018, tells the story of the Dutton family, owners of the largest ranch in Montana, who are led by patriarch John Dutton III (Costner).
Rumours began circling in February that Yellowstone would be ending after the next season, with Costner, 68, also thought to be stepping away from the blockbuster season.
Now it has been claimed by a source there was ‘friction’ between The Untouchables actor and Sheridan, saying ‘it’s the same as any showrunner and big star’ although they stated there was ‘respect’ between the pair.
