The Guardian – Fears of worsening humanitarian disaster in Gaza as fuel runs short

The Guardian says a UN agency says its relief operation in Gaza may have to stop unless fuel is allowed into the territory.

The paper says fuel is needed to pump and desalinate water – so people have clean supplies, as well as to power hospital generators.

The paper also carries a picture of young mourners crying at the graves of Lianne Sharabi and her two teenage daughters, Noiya and Yahel. “Extinguished too soon,” it says.
