UAE reports 3,236 new Covid cases, 14 deaths

The UAE has reported 3,236 new Covid-19 cases, taking the overall tally for the country to 355,131.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), the latest coronavirus patients – all in a stable condition and receiving care – were identified after conducting more than 193,163 additional Covid-19 tests among UAE citizens and residents over the past few days.

The number of recoveries has gone up to 340,365 after another 3,643 people received the all-clear.

Fourteen more deaths were also reported in the past 24 hours, punching the country’s covid-19 death toll to 1,041.

The ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the Covid victims and wished a speedy recovery to all patients. They called on the public to cooperate with health authorities and comply with all precautionary measures, particularly social distancing protocols, to ensure the safety and protection of the public.
