Boris caves to France: More than 100 extra fishing licences issued since Macron’s threats
The Daily Express says Downing Street today said almost 1,800 fishing licences have been granted to EU vessels looking to fish in UK waters. The number is significantly higher than the 1,673 licences Environment Secretary said had been issued when he updated MPs in the Commons last Thursday morning.
On October 27, France issued the UK with an ultimatum to grant access to British waters for more European vessels by tomorrow.
