Eleanor Williams has been sentenced to eight and a half years in prison after being found guilty of lying about being trafficked and sexually exploited by a made-up Asian grooming gang.
The 22-year old was found guilty of nine counts of perverting the course of justice after she claimed to have been the victim of an Asian grooming gang.
During trial, her victims spoke of the damage her false accustaions had caused to their lives and mental health, which led to multiple attempted suicides.
Ms Williams will spend half of her sentence in custody before being released on licence.
