Woman dies after being hit ‘by at least 5 vehicles’ in early morning tragedy
Daily Mirror says the woman – who has not been named – is believed to have been struck by “at least five vehicles” on the A331 near Ash Bridge at Tongham, Surrey, according to police.
Investigators are now seeking information and dashcam footage following the incident, which happened at 12.03am, reports SurreyLive.
A witness reported seeing damaged vehicles near the scene.
In a statement, Surrey Police said: “We were called to the A331 near the Ash bridge shortly after midnight following reports that the body of a woman had been found in the carriageway.
