Woman admits stabbing ‘best daddy in the world’ to death on first day of trial
The Daily Mirror says A woman has admitted murdering a 31-year-old man who was stabbed in the chest earlier this year.
Emma Berry, 46, had previously pleaded not guilty to killing Dean Michael Bennett but dramatically changed her plea just before a trial was due to begin.
Berry asked for the charge to be put to her again at Mold Crown Court in Flintshire, North Wales, on Monday where she confessed to the murder.
Judge Rhys Rowlands told her that he would sentence her on Tuesday, NorthWalesLive reports.
