The Sunday Telegraph says the pair met on the sidelines of the Notre Dame reopening ceremony. The paper reports Trump telling William he was doing a “fantastic job.” Kensington Palace called the 40-minute meeting “warm” and “friendly,” the paper adds.

‘Assad regime under threat’
‘Assad regime hanging by a thread,’ reports the Sunday Times.
The Sunday Times reports that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime is “hanging by a thread” as rebels reach the outskirts of the capital. Syria’s interior minister said Assad’s regime has built a “very strong security and military cordon” to the edges of Damascus, but a US official said the city appeared to be “falling suburb by suburb”.

The Sun on Sunday says the 34-year-old had to be cut out of his Ferrari after it hit trees in Theydon Bois, Essex, and is said to be in a “serious condition” in hospital.
