The Prince and Princess of Wales will take the lead on tributes to Queen Elizabeth II on the anniversary of her death, it is thought.
A source told The Mirror that William and Kate will give a speech honouring the legacy of the late monarch and talk about looking ‘forward’ to the future.
The insider said: ‘Her Majesty’s passing was an event that truly signified the end of an era.
‘The Royal Family has been in transition since then and following the Coronation and conclusion of the summer holidays, there will be an expectation to see what is next.’
It is not yet clear whether they will give the message in person, on television or via social media.
But it is also thought King Charles III will take a step back to mark the occasion ‘quietly and privately’ at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, which is where Queen Elizabeth II died aged 96 on September 8 last year.
His decision mirrors how his mother spent the first anniversary of her father King George VI’s death.

She stayed at Sandringham until after February 6, which was the anniversary of when he died.
Charles is already in Balmoral for his summer break, which he started at the beginning of the month.
The source claimed there are no plans for a large-scale public event or family gathering for the occasion, but royals are still likely to spend time in Balmoral this year over the summer holidays.
This is likely to include Will, Kate and their children; the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and their teenage children; and Princess Anne and her husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence with their children and grandchildren.

It is thought the King may have an audience with Rishi Sunak at some point over the summer, after the prime minister and his family return from their break in the US.
Charles is also likely to visit France after his trip was postponed at the last minute due to riots.
He may also visit Kenya in the autumn alongside his wife Queen Camilla, as the Royal Family tries to strengthen ties with the Commonwealth amid calls to scrap the monarchy in some areas like the Caribbean.
