Will there be a UK heatwave in July 2021?
The i says the Met Office has poured cold water on reports of a month-long heatwave, saying the UK should expect “unsettled” weather, particularly in the first half of July.
However, the second half of the month could deliver, with the Met Office currently projecting a two-week patch of very warm, dry weather.
Friday will be wet, “particularly for central and east England and south Scotland”, the Met Office said, though southern areas and parts of the far north should stay dry.
