The Academy Awards are in their 95th year and fans are excited to see which stars/motion pictures will take home the coveted prize.
This year, many expect Steven Spielberg to win big for his film The Fabelmans, while The Banshees of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All At Once are also tipped for victory.
Anything can happen at the Oscars, though – such as the wrong Best Picture winner being announced live on stage.
So what time are the Oscars on tonight, who’s hosting, and how can you watch?
Here’s all you need to know, plus the full list of 2023 nominees.
But who is hosting the festivities this year, and where is it taking place? Here’s everything you need to know.
Who is hosting the Oscars this year?

Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel will present the Oscars this year.
In a statement, Jimmy joked: ‘Being invited to host the Oscars for a third time is either a great honour or a trap. Either way, I am grateful to the Academy for asking me so quickly after everyone good said no.’
Last year’s Oscars were hosted by comedians Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes, and actor Regina Hall.
However, the spotlight ultimately shone on Chris Rock, who was infamously slapped by Best Actor winner Will Smith while presenting the Best Documentary Feature gong.
Where are the 2023 Oscars being held?

The 2023 Oscars will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California – where it’s been filmed for over 20 years.
Everything Everywhere and All Quiet have also dominated other recent awards shows, but it’s all still to play for, especially in a best actor category including favourites Colin Farrell, Austin Butler and Brendan Fraser, alongside popular outside chances from Bill Nighy and Paul Mescal.
