May is almost here and with it comes three bank holidays for Britons to enjoy.
The first of which arrives next week on May 1, the Early May bank holiday, with another following on May 8 for the Coronation of King Charles III and another on May 29 for the Spring bank holiday.
Many will be using their long weekend to spend time with friends and family, or simply to binge through their watch lists on streaming services.
Others will want to make a dent in their list of chores, maybe tackling the Spring cleaning or getting the weekly shop done.
If you’ll be doing the latter, and you’re a Co-Op shopper, find out if your local branch will be affected by the upcoming bank holiday.

A spokesperson for Co-Op told Metro.co.uk: ‘As a convenience retailer, all Co-op stores will be open as usual in our communities throughout the May Bank holidays, enabling our members and customers to conveniently pick up everything they need for the long weekends and, Coronation celebrations.’
Opening hours differ between stores, so you will need to check with your local store to find out when to plan your shopping.
You can do this online by visiting Co-Op’s store finder, where you can type in your town of postcode to find your local shop and bring up all the branch’s information.
Deliveries will also go ahead unaffected across the various May bank holidays.
Shoppers will be able to get their essentials delivered straight to their door from just 99p when you spend a minimum of £15
