What time is PMQs today? Boris Johnson to face Keir as Partygate rumbles on
PM Boris Johnson will be face-to-face with Sir Keir Starmer at Prime Minister’s Questions again today. The PM will try to deflect attention from partygate and instead focus on the cost of living crisis.
The Cabinet has been coming up with plans to help Britons struggling to stay afloat due to soaring inflation and energy prices.
MOTs being reduced to every two years, childcare rules changes and tariff-free food imports have all been floated as possible options.
Labour is unlikely to let partygate slip by however and the PM may face questioning over the Mail on Sunday article – that has been widely condemned as sexist and misogynistic tripe. The article claims a Tory told them Labour’s Angela Rayner crosses and uncrosses her legs to distract the PM.
The article was met with widespread condemnation across the political spectrum.

What should we expect?
On Tuesday Sir Keir denied that Partygate has distracted Labour from its campaign over the cost of living crisis.
“When we started the campaign, we had a laser-like focus on the cost of living and we’ve maintained that throughout,” he said.
“The cost of living crisis has been staring us in the face for six months now and it’s a real problem for people struggling with their bills – and the cabinet meeting this morning isn’t going to change any of that.”
Starmer is set to pressure the PM obver his plans to help those effected the worst by the cost of living crisis.
The Angela Rayner story, Ukraine, Partygate and the cost of living set to be the top topics for this Wednesday’s PMQs.
