Wrexham have everything to play for in their forthcoming game against opponents Boreham Wood – as a win could secure their return into the English Football league.
The Welsh club were purchased for £2million by Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia actor Rob McElhenney in November 2020, and since then the non-league side has been getting the kind of attention usually reserved for top Premier League clubs.
But things are on the brink of getting even more exciting for Wrexham – managed by Phil Parkinson – as they are top of the National League table with 107 points from 44 games, four points ahead of second place Notts County.
They scored a significant win over that club on Easter Monday, beating their promotion rivals in a dramatic 3-2 win
This means all eyes will be on their next clash against Boreham Wood, as a win will secure their long awaited promotion.
Here’s what you need to know about the match, including kick off time and where you can watch all the nail-biting action…
