West Ham have reportedly joined the long list of clubs – including Manchester United – interested in signing Serhou Guirassy in January.
Guirassy has become highly-sought after off the back of scoring 18 goals in 15 games across all competitions for Stuttgart this season.
The striker has found the back of the net 16 times in the Bundesliga, with only Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane ahead in the Golden Boot race.
But most intriguingly, the 27-year-old has a £15million release clause in his contract – a bargain in today’s market.
It is said that Guirassy is open to moving to Old Trafford, with United desperate to add more firepower to their squad, with Rasmus Hojlund still yet to score in the Premier League.
Borussia Dortmund, Newcastle and Fulham are also weighing up whether to make a move for the Guinea international in January, and now talkSPORT report that West Ham are also interested in his services.
Having sold Gianluca Scamacca to Atalanta last summer, the Irons have been left short on centre-forward options, with Michail Antonio or Jarrod Bowen deployed in that role to good effect.

But the East Londoners are still keen on signing a prolific striker as they bid to move up the table and progress through the Europa League knockouts.
Despite some poor results, David Moyes’ side are eighth in the table and have the chance to leapfrog Manchester United when they host them on Saturday.

Before then, West Ham travel to Liverpool on Wednesday night for a Carabao Cup quarter-final.
On the same night, Stuttgart, who are fourth in the Bundesliga, host Augsburg in their final game before the winter break, but Guirassy won’t likely be there when they return as he’ll be off to the Africa Cup of Nations.
