Daily Express – We’re on the up so loosen up the purse strings, Mr Hunt

The Daily Express reports Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has been urged to cut £20bn off the collective tax bill in light of an improvement in economic forecasts.

“Leading experts” told the paper that the Chancellor may have enough headroom to “knock £20bn off the collective tax bill” and should take “further measures” to boost the country.

Elsewhere, the paper reports Labour’s dip in the polls following some internal issues and the death of BBC radio legend Steve Wright continues to make the splash.
