Erik ten Hag has provided an injury update of five of his Manchester United players ahead of Saturday’s trip to West Ham in the Premier League.
The Red Devils travel to east London without a win in their last three games across all competitions, including a humiliating 3-0 defeat to AFC Bournemouth and 1-0 loss to Bayern Munich which saw them crash out of the Champions League.
Ahead of their match at West Ham, Ten Hag has provided news on injured stars Lisandro Martinez, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Mason Mount and Casemiro.
‘We have some doubts, we had some illnesses during the week, so we have to see who is available for tomorrow,’ Ten Hag said on Friday.
‘They [Martinez and Casemiro] are not available before Christmas. Mid-January, we expect them back.
‘Mason Mount is similar, into January. Harry Maguire, I expect him early on [in the new year]. Victor Lindelof is not available. He has done surgery so he will be out for a couple of weeks.’
Meanwhile, Christian Eriksen has returned to training as he looks to make a comeback, while Bruno Fernandes is available after serving a one-match suspension – but Diogo Dalot is ruled out for his red card against Liverpool.

Ten Hag was also quizzed about United’s lack of goals, with his side having now gone three games without scoring.
‘We have played very strong teams in Liverpool and Bayern Munich, and before we had a poor game [vs Bournemouth],’ the Dutchman added.
‘Always issues. We have to improve, we played very good against Bayern Munich and Liverpool but we should have created more chances and been more clinical in such moments.’
