Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) is set to lash out at Carla Barlow (Alison King) in upcoming Coronation Street scenes, a new spoiler video shows.
Having turned his hand to social media, Ryan posts an image of his scars online, leaving Carla and the factory girls impressed. However, Beth Tinker (Lisa George) soon points out a negative comment.
Later, there is a misunderstanding when Carla thinks that Ryan is upset by the negative comments on his post, though it soon becomes clear that it was something else that was bothering and he hadn’t even seen the comment.
When he looks, he is clearly hurt by what has been written, and his mood only gets worse.
Carla suggests he delete the comments, and assures him that it is a nice picture, revealing that the factory girls were full of compliments for him when they saw it earlier.

Ryan grows frustrated at being the topic of conversation in the factory, and ends up smashing a glass in his anger, taking Carla by surprise.
As Carla tells him to calm down, he loses it completely, blaming her for making him angry.
Thankfully for terrified Carla, Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) arrives mid tirade, and pulls Ryan away.
He keeps a level head as he restrains an out-of-control Ryan and implores him to calm down, while Carla reels from his outburst.

What Carla and Peter don’t know is that Ryan’s temper has stemmed from his use of steroids, which he started taking in recent weeks.
Viewers may know that Ryan’s former step-dad, Robert Preston (Tristan Gemmil) once also used steroids, and it was Carla who sussed him out after witnessing him purchasing them.
She soon grew suspicious that they were making him violent after discovering bruises on best friend Michelle Connor’s (Kym Marsh) arms.
With this experience, could Carla soon rumble Ryan’s steroid addiction and put a stop to it before his behaviour gets out of control?
