The Sun – Violence sweeps UK: Day of shame

    August 5, 2024

The Sun reports that far-right “riot thugs” attacked two migrant hotels in a “day of shame”. Yobs lit fires and hurled missiles at riot cops guarding Holiday Inns in Rotherham and Tamworth, Staffs, as violent clashes broke out in dozens of UK towns and cities, the paper writes. Elsewhere, Amber Rutter delivered a silver medal for Team GB yesterday — three months after giving birth to her baby boy, the paper reports.

Hotel petrol-bombed & bricks hurled at riot cops in ANOTHER night of carnage as 100s of thugs descend on UK cities

THUGS petrol bombed a migrant hotel last night as chaos descended on UK cities for another day of carnage.

Yobs lit fires and hurled missiles at riot cops guarding Holiday Inns in Rotherham and Tamworth, Staffs, as violent clashes broke out in dozens of UK towns and cities.

Rioting broke out across the UK this week fuelled by online lies following the murders of three girls in Southport on Monday.

Posts wrongly claimed suspect Axel Rudakubana, 17, was a Muslim asylum seeker. He was actually born in Cardiff and raised Christian.

Terrifying violence followed the attack in Southport, before unrest spread to Hartlepool and Manchester on Wednesday, Sunderland and Blackpool on Friday then 11 more cities by Saturday.

Star shooter Amber Rutter delivers silver medal for Team GB just three months after giving birth to baby boy

STAR shooter Amber Rutter delivered a silver medal for Team GB yesterday — three months after giving birth to her baby boy.

She lost out on gold only after judges failed to spot she had hit a target in a tense shootout for the top spot in the skeet final.

Her medal was one of four won by Brits yesterday, with golfer Tommy Fleetwood also winning a silver.

Amber, 26, of Windsor, Berks, had no idea her husband was cheering her on with their son until she turned around after winning silver and caught sight of them in the crowd.

James and baby Tommy caught a flight from Heathrow to Paris on Saturday to surprise Amber at the final.
