Veteran broadcaster Alastair Stewart has revealed that he has been diagnosed with dementia.
The ITV newsreader, 71, shared that this setback in his health was why he chose to retire earlier this year.
Stewart is battling early onset vascular dementia, which he shared in an interview with Camilla Tominey.
He shared that he had decided to visit his GP about six to nine months ago after he began to feel ‘a bit discombobulated’.
