Susanna Reid had an unexpected involvement in this year’s Big Brother.
Henry Southan has revealed that his fellow housemates were sure Susanna was his mum and the conspiracy theory spread far and wide in the house, despite never making it to air.
‘Everyone in the house for some reason thought my mother was Susanna Reid,’ he shared on the ITV Palooza red carpet, which was attended by Metro.co.uk.
Explaining how the theory came to existence Henry said it began more vague until a ‘clue’ sparked his housemates’ imaginations.
‘There was a real conspiracy that I had famous parents, and I said my mum was called Suzie and they said ‘Oh my gosh Susanna Reid, it’s Susanna Reid.’
Keen to set the record straight, Henry said: ‘I can confirm that my mum is not Susanna Reid.’

The 25-year-old was in the same vicinity as Susanna, 52, for the glitzy event, but they weren’t able to discuss the fake familial connection.
However, Susanna was informed about the theory live on Good Morning Britain and found the whole thing quite amusing.
‘Hi Henry,’ she said to the camera. Hopefully he was awake at 6am and tuned in to hear his shout-out.

While chatting on the purple carpet, he was joined by Big Brother winner and new bestie Jordan Sangha.
Despite their insistence that they’re just friends, they’ve continued their trend of stealing kisses in the outside world when they reunited for a sleepover on Monday night.
Although, Jordan, 26, insisted there was ‘no funny business,’ Henry admitted they were ‘platonic with kisses.’
Jordan jokingly responded: ‘What?’

Their close relationship has many people rooting for them to have an epic love story – the ‘Jenry army’ have been putting together romantic montages of their time in the house, and are continually looking for evidence they’re pursuing their connection.
‘The Jenry army are very strong. I can’t open my phone without seeing montages of us in the hot tub,’ shared Henry.
‘We’re trying to remove all of that pressure and see how it goes. In the house, it’s such a strange environment so you just have to accept how it is in the real world.’

They’ve already made many plans together including wine and Lego nights, and a trip to New York with Jordan’s winnings.
If you’ve been using social media to suggest their next career move then you’re in luck, the twosome are taking it all on board as they plan for the future. They would be happy to star in a travel show together and share a couch for Celebrity Gogglebox.
Jordan who has come forward as a Janet Street-Porter has his own personal ambition to be a Loose Men panelist too.
‘It’s a gig! I like being in front of the camera surprisingly. Who knows what’s next for me,’ the former lawyer concluded.
