UK weather: Snow to hit Britain with big freeze as temperatures plunge to -3C, Met Office warns
The Independent says The UK is set to face plunging sub-zero temperatures as snow and gales are forecast for later this week.
It comes just days after back-to-back destructive winds from Storm Corrie and Storm Malik battered parts of northern England and Scotland with 90mph gusts leaving over 45,000 households without power, three dead and hundreds facing travel disruption.
The Met Office warned that significant weather changes are approaching after weeks of mild weather in most parts of the country.
