Gran, 74, nicked £25,000 from her dying dad and splurged cash in bars & ANN SUMMERS
The Sun says A GRANDMA nicked £25,000 from her dying dad before splashing the cash in bars and Ann Summers.
Jeanette Lee, 74, stole thousands of pounds from her own dementia-suffering father before going on the spending spree.
Derby Crown Court heard how Jeanette siphoned the money from her dad’s accounts while he was unaware and living in a care home.
The prosecution told the hearing how a total of £63,430 was found to have been missing.
However, they were only able to pin £25,000 of it on the defendant.
Prosecutor Hal Ewing said Lee was put in charge of her father’s affairs in 2015 and for the next two years began taking money from him.
