A 17-year-old motorcyclist died in a one-vehicle collision on the B9031 Macduff to Fraserburgh road in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, at approximately 5.30pm on Monday. A teenage motorcyclist has died in a one-vehicle collision in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
The 17-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene on the B9031 Macduff to Fraserburgh road, following the crash at around 5.30pm on Monday.
Police are appealing for information and say it involved a black Honda CB500 motorcycle.
They added that it happened west of the junction for Pennan.
The road was shut for around six hours to allow officers to investigate. It has since reopened.

The victim has not yet been identified.
Sergeant Peter Henderson, of the north-east road policing unit, said: ‘Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the young male who died in this incident.
‘Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we would urge anyone who believes they may have witnessed anything of note to get in touch.
‘We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area.
‘Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 2462 of August 24.’
