Caroline Stanbury has revealed the harsh results of a botched facelift that left her husband calling it ‘one of the hardest moments’ of his life.
The Real Housewives of Dubai star, 47, shared a video on social media on Thursday as she was driven home from the hospital after the procedure.
In the video, Caroline’s husband, footballer Sergio Carallo, 29, could be seen in tears as he described witnessing her injuries on her return from the surgery.
Earlier in the week, Caroline had admitted that having the procedure was an impromptu decision and had left her looking like she’d ‘been in a car crash’.
After leaving the hospital, Sergio filmed a video in the couple’s car – he had tears in his eyes as he described it as ‘one of the hardest moments’ of his life.
‘This was probably one of the hardest moments of my life. Seeing the person that you love with all your heart suffering and in pain,’ he captioned the post.

The pair were married in 2021 in Mauritius as a result of the United Arab Emirates outlawing interfaith marriages at the time – the law was changed soon after.
Sergio, who played for Real Madrid before eventually plying his trade in Iceland, then described the experience as ‘very hard’ and admitted he was ‘against it’.
He said: ‘As a husband I will always support her and be here for her and as much as I was against it, she really wanted to do it. So, I was there for her.’

However, despite the initial problems Caroline experienced after the surgery, it appeared once the scars began to heal that the results were actually positive.
‘I am very proud of you and I just seeing how happy you are with the result, it makes me very happy,’ he added.
Businesswoman and TV star Caroline, who also starred in Ladies of London in 2014, was seen in a later video as the pair walked around Los Angeles.
She said in a later video that she is beginning to be able to move her face, although she did admit to looking like ‘a pumpkin patchwork doll’.
In 2022, Caroline became known to TV audiences after clashing with presenter Kate Garraway, who criticised her ‘flaunting’ her wealthy lifestyle.
On the series Inside Dubai, Kate said: ‘When you said, “Oh, everyone’s supposed to share a bath and whatever in the UK” – a lot of people are having to.’
She continued, criticising the London-born TV personality: ‘If you’re flaunting the fact you’ve got five baths then people feel offended by it.’
