Number 10 sources have claimed Liz Truss accepted help during her leadership campaign from a former government minister accused of sexual harassment, according to The Independent

The paper does not lead on the party conference mess but instead accuses the PM of accepting help from someone she knew had allegations of sexual harassment against him. The paper further claims there she suggested he might make a return to serve in her government.
