First Dates Ireland star Jordan Dunbar has died at the age of 29, with friends paying tribute to the ‘wonderful, kind and funny soul’.
A statement was released on social media Irish TV channel RTÉ2 announcing the sad news, as fans expressed their sadness over their loss.
‘We are very sad to hear of the death of Jordan Dunbar. Jordan featured on First Dates Ireland and was also a presenter on the series My Yellow Brick Road. A wonderful talent, gone far too young. Our deepest sympathies to his loved ones,’ it read.
Coco Content, the company that produces First Dates Ireland, shared a video of the late TV personaltiy while tweeting: ‘Our hearts our broken with the death of Jordan Dunbar, such a talented and beautiful person.
‘We first met him on First Dates and he went on to present My Yellow Brick Road on RTE. He was a joy to work with & it was a privilege to know him. Deepest sympathy to all who loved him.’
Dunbar was 23 when he went on First Dates Ireland six years ago.
A friend reshared the news of his death on Facebook, writing: ‘RIP my beautiful friend ♥ I’m going to miss our laughs, chats and nights out so much. I will miss you dearly. You have left a lasting impact babe.’
‘Rip Jordan Stunbar you lit up any room,’ another wrote.
